This kitchen measures only 4.8 square metres but incorporates everything needed in a family kitchen. Despite only have one bank of full-size kitchen cupboards, we managed to accomodate a fan oven, gas hob, extractor fan, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and boiler in a 225cm gap. Pulling down the ceiling to create a sloping roof with skylight allows for taller wall cupboards and increased storage. A feature was made of the client’s collection of dinnerware and ceramics by utilising an old German medicine cabinet, relocated to the dining area just outside the kitchen. The kitchen has featured in an online commercial for Finish Dishwashing tablets.
